Talking of all these connections reminds me of a piece I read yesterday but which was written by Dustin Moskovitz in 2013 after attending Burning Man. He regarded himself as part of the '1%' and no doubt he still does. His disingenuous final words 'Elitism in all forms distracts us from the truth of our common humanity' sounds to me like the march towards communitarianism.
I then found his 'philanthropy' led to an outfit called 'One Project'. There is no hiding the real plan which is to shift growth to digital realms and everything/everyone along with it. There life, in a mixed reality, will be managed by the likes of Dustin in a militarised cloud architecture. Of course they will hide our digital prison behind nice words.
