The power of the human spirit is incredible. Wracked by fear, it can succumb. Girded by love, it is nearly boundless

Frank Herbert’s Litany Against Fear resonates:

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

So much of what has passed and continues transpiring is built on deconstructing our belief in our selves, our immune systems, our capacity to heal, to love, our power. It’s all a narrative—an enchantment built on doubt and fear.

Thank you for dispelling some of that 🙏🏽❤️

Thank you for this post. I've heard countless stories of people who listen to the doctors "six months" suggestions, and convince their body to play along. And those who don't. The obvious comparison between this and beliefs in the inevitability of wef/davos/eet ze bugz/cbdc domination are clear, now that you've drawn the connection. A topic for much meditation. Thank you!

Placebos work.

So do nocebos.

Having a time to death is one of the worst. It's called bone pointing in native cultures.

Here's a pretty cool set of videos from this show called Legion.

It's all about how the mind is easily tricked whether from others or ourselves.

One is about the nocebo effect.

I'm glad your father didn't sign up for the chemo. That's the biggest scam ever. Survival rates are very low. Oncologists buy it in bulk and mark it up. Great way to incentivize it, 🤑

Yes.

Have you stumbled into Bernie Siegel's book, "Love, Medicine & Miracles: Lessons Learned About Self-Healing From a Surgeon's Experience with Exceptional Patients"? https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/206125.

Siegel was an oncologist who became curious why and how people survived terminal cancers. Beautiful book. It turns out that the characteristics that terminal cancer survivors have match very closely with those of people who survive war. This is a very good read.

You may find the stoic philosophy has some positive energy too. Well, positive in the sense of being grounding and clearly affirming the importance of attending to one's self as, really, the only effective practice to change the world. I particularly like Epictetus, which you can find on line. Or a great summary of his ideas are found in "The Art of Living: The Classical Manual on Virtue, Happiness and Effectiveness".

Thank you for sharing, with love and gratitude.
